Turn it on
Press ⌃⌥G from anywhere, or choose Gaming Mode → Turn On from the menu bar.
One menu for CPU, memory, resolution, frame rate, and controller tuning, built for the games that need it.
Turning on Gaming Mode replaces the regular Settings menu with a Gaming Mode menu for as long as it's active. Every setting you change restarts Android to apply it immediately, with no confirmation step in the way.
Press ⌃⌥G from anywhere, or choose Gaming Mode → Turn On from the menu bar.
Exiting Gaming Mode puts your CPU, memory, GPU model, frame rate, and display settings back exactly where they were before you turned it on. Nothing is permanently changed.
Pick a tier, or tune CPU and memory yourself and Gaming Mode treats it as a custom tier.
Each tier allocates a set share of your Mac's total CPU and memory to Android: Balanced around 60%, High around 85%, and Max around 95%.
Adjust either one directly rather than picking a tier. Both go up to about 95% of your Mac's total.
Once a setting passes roughly 85% of your Mac's total, the menu marks it with a note that it leaves less headroom for macOS itself, right up to the 95% ceiling.
Frame rate and resolution are capped independently of the performance tier.
Choose 60, 90, or 120 frames per second.
Render at 1080p, 1440p, or native resolution.
The reported GPU model is locked to a flagship-tier profile while Gaming Mode is active, scaled to your Mac's own chip tier, and isn't user-adjustable during that time.
A dedicated full-screen switch sits in the same menu.
Input tuning lives inside Gaming Mode too, so you don't need to leave it to adjust how you're playing.
Right-click to confine and hide the pointer for mouse-look, Escape releases it. Unavailable when Mouse Buttons is set to Shoot & Aim, since right-click already fires in that mode.
Send the right stick from a two-finger trackpad swipe or from mouse movement.
Choose Touch, where clicks act like on-screen taps, or Shoot & Aim, where left fires and right aims.
A full remapping panel for the keyboard-as-gamepad layout, opened from Controller → Edit Controller Map.
Click a binding, then press a key to capture it. Covers every face button, shoulder, trigger, stick click, the left stick, and the d-pad.
Separate controls for aim curve, sensitivity, deadzone, smoothing, return delay, and independent X/Y inversion.
Save a layout, import one, or export one to share. Presets are plain files you can reveal in Finder, and Reset to Defaults is always one click away.
Gaming Mode isn't available while using Remote Mode or a non-default profile.
